Warthog EX-2 | 05
All done! Not the cleanest paint job I admit, but it somehow works. It is a 'hog after all.

Sprayed a clear coat of Tamiya modelers paint over the area of the fully cured paint, should keep it from scratching off.

Something I unfortunately haven't had the time to work on, until today.

Bought that Nerf Max Force Warthog ages ago from a fellow member on Nerfhaven. It was already broken back then, I merely wanted that shell.

I decided to refit this classic with some new magic with the help of a Double Strike.

Now I gotta find the right kind of paint to hide the green parts and fix up what I assume to be stains from duct tape.

Overall, quite happy so far.

2016-12-26, Edit:

After playing around with it for a bit, I noticed that fanning the hammer doesn't hurt as much with the Warthog shell on, because the rounded piece of plastic hog hair smoothly guides the palm into said hammer.

Nice.

Finally, some footage of the ship in action (well, for a moment at least before I had to re-log and then jump away while everything onboard was on fire, but still!). Now all I've got left to catch for once is the Lineup review.

:D
